BIOS:
KOOM Kankesan is a writer with a background in English Literature and Film Studies. He has written short stories and small anecdotal pieces for various journals, and has published film and book reviews with newspapers such as the Montreal Gazette. He is an unabashed fan of comic books and movies. The Panic Button is his first novella:

MARIA Meindl is the author of Outside the Box: the Life and Legacy of Writer Mona Gould, the Grandmother I Thought I Knew from McGill Queens University Press, a story “The Last Judgment” from Found Press and “Rules” an essay in an anthology on death published by Creative Non Fiction. Her essays have appeared in The Literary Review of Canada, Descant and Musicworks. She has made two radio series for CBC Ideas: Parent Care, and Remembering Polio. JEFFREY Round’s first two books, A Cage of Bones and The P-town Murders, were listed on “AfterElton’s Top 100 Gay books.” He is also a film and stage director and a composer. His latest book is Lake On The Mountain, a literary-thriller about a gay missing persons investigator (Dundurn). SUZANNE Sutherland’s fiction has appeared in magazines such as Descant, Dragnet and Steel Bananas. Her first book, When We Were Good, a young adult novel about girls, guitars and the Bloor Viaduct, will published by Sumach Press in 2013. She is also the founder of the Toronto Zine Library, as well as the Lovely Picnic concert series.
